We Guide You Through Every Step...

Concept Development

Our design services integrate cabinetry, appliances, lighting, and counter surfaces.  Our standard design package includes 2-D line drawings, 3-D colored prototypes, and detailed shop drawings of the project for installation.

We guide you through every step from concept through completion. All AKB designs are copyrighted to protect your investment with AKB.

At Artistic Kitchens & Baths, we have over 50 years of combined design expertise and are certified and trained in Green Building and Design in addition to Aging in Place (Universal Design).

Finalizing Your Plan

Our showroom provides many examples of options and styles to help you make design decisions.  Our showroom is located in Southern Pines, NC.

Our process is simple.  First, we create an estimate of the cost based on our initial scoping study.  Once complete, and the small design retainer has beed paid, we commence the detailed construction of all of your plans.  The fee is fully credited toward the complete project and allows us to dedicate our professional resources to your unique design, cabinetry purchase and installation.

We continue to collaborate with you to finalize these plans.  The collaboration process could take several weeks to finish.

Finalizing Your Plan 1

After you and your designer have finalized your plans, Artistic Kitchens & Baths places all orders.  In addition, we provide the installationand the coordination of the project for your home in one effective and efficient process.

We manage the entire project, deliver the materials, and complete the installation, using only those installers who meet our rigorous standards and are employees of our company.  Once complete, we make sure everything is in place and in proper working order so that you can begin enjoying your new space as soon as possible.

Contact Us

Reach out to us today. Come share your ideas and tour our showroom.  When you’re ready, make an appointment to meet with one of our designers. So that we can assist you with this first design meeting, we recommend that you build an Ideabook on Houzz or a folder on Pinterest. Come prepared with pictures and ideas to share with us. You are also welcome to email links to these Ideabooks or folders. We also suggest the following for the first appointment as well:

  • Make notes when your review our Information Sheet.  Bring your notes with you.
  • Provide an idea of when you would like the project to be started, and when you would like it to be completed.
  • Bring a list of features you’d like to have in your new space.
  • Bring magazine pictures or photos of rooms you like or details you find interesting – and even some that you don’t like!
  • Tell us your “Do Not Exceed” budget for the project. Our professionals use that price range as a design parameter. We also consider the size of the room, the location of windows and doors, and other obstacles, as well as your aesthetic preferences.
